First-generation students make up 21% of our student body. At least one of every six bwin体育 faculty members are also first-generation graduates, providing mentorship and support for the success of all students and especially those who are first in their family to attend college.

Grissom Scholars Program

bwin体育 College’s commitment to 机会 and an excellent liberal arts and sciences education for students of all backgrounds is deeply reflected in the Grissom Scholars Program, one of the College’s premier scholarships. Available to first-year applicants, each year the program offers ten high achieving first-generation college students a full-tuition scholarship and $5,000 in educational enrichment funds.

Kessler Scholars Program

Delivering on its commitment to ensure educational access and achievement for first-generation students, bwin体育 College partners with the Kessler Scholars Collaborative, a program that connects high-achieving first-generation students with individualized support and cohort-based programming designed to foster academic, professional and personal growth.

Supplemental Funding

Thrive Enrichment Funds

A$10 million gift from an anonymous donor provides access to study abroad, internships and other educational opportunities for first-generation students. bwin体育 provides all incoming first-generation students with $5,000 in enrichment funding in addition to their generous financial aid packages.

Join us for 前面 & bwin体育, an Open House event, offering a tour of our beautiful campus, the 机会 to connect with current students, and hear first-hand about the resources available at bwin体育 from our world class faculty and staff. You will also have the option to explore specialty areas on campus including lab spaces, our Fine Arts department, or our Studio Arts facilities at the conclusion of the event!
